iPhone or Android — or both

We build for whichever platform
your users actually have.

Most businesses don't get to pick — their customers use both iPhones and Android phones, and the app needs to be available everywhere. For those projects, we build cross-platform apps from a single codebase that compiles to both iOS and Android. The result looks and feels native on both platforms, and the cost is roughly half of building each version separately.

For internal apps — where you know your team is all on company iPhones, or where you only need to support Android tablets in the field — we'll build pure native to that one platform. Cheaper, faster, simpler.

In every case, we make the recommendation based on what's actually best for your project, not what's easiest for us to sell. If your idea genuinely needs pure native iOS and pure native Android built separately, we'll tell you why and quote both. If cross-platform is the smarter call, we'll tell you that instead.

Built for Northwestern Ontario

Apps that work where
connectivity is unreliable.

If your app is going to be used at a remote lodge, on a construction site, or anywhere outside Fort Frances, you can't assume the user has a signal. Most off-the-shelf apps break the moment they lose connection — they show an error, lose data, or refuse to open.

We build apps that work offline by default. Data is stored locally on the phone, the app stays usable, and everything syncs back to your system when a connection is available. That matters for field crews, remote camps, fishing lodges, and any business operating in the real Northwestern Ontario landscape — not a city with five bars everywhere.

Common questions

Mobile App Development FAQ

How much does it cost to build a mobile app?
Mobile app projects start from $2,500 and are quoted flat rate. Simple single-purpose apps are at the low end. Apps with user accounts, payments, or syncing with other systems cost more. We scope the full project with you before any work begins, so you know the total cost upfront.
Should I build for iPhone, Android, or both?
Most businesses want both. We typically recommend cross-platform development — one codebase that produces both an iPhone app and an Android app — because it cuts the cost roughly in half compared to building each version separately. Pure native is the right call for performance-heavy apps or apps that rely on specific device features.
Do you handle App Store and Google Play submission?
Yes. We handle the full submission process for both stores, including setting up your Apple Developer and Google Play accounts if you don't have them, writing store listings, preparing screenshots, and dealing with reviewer feedback. First-time submissions almost always get rejected for something — we handle the back-and-forth.
Can the app work offline?
Yes. For users in remote Northwestern Ontario where connectivity is unreliable, offline functionality matters. We build apps that store data locally and sync when a connection is available — critical for field workers, lodge staff, and anyone working outside town.
Will my app keep working after you deliver it?
Yes — but mobile apps need ongoing updates to stay compatible with new iOS and Android releases. We hand over full code ownership at the end of the project, and we offer optional maintenance plans if you want us to keep the app updated, patched, and compatible with new phones.
Do you build apps for businesses outside Fort Frances?
Yes. Mobile app projects are done remote-first, so we work with clients across Northwestern Ontario and all of Canada. The whole project — scoping, design reviews, progress updates, delivery — runs over video calls and email.
